A SUCCESS STORY

P&V Elektrotechniek was established in 1986 by Ghislain Vanherle and Rudi Penders. From the start, the company focused on one core activity: the design and assembly of low-voltage industrial switch panels. Both founders had a clear goal: to become the best in the panel building sector. From the outset, P&V’s approach was characterized by quality, expertise, creativity and innovation and the company had already obtained ISO 9001 certification by 1995. Those founding values still form the basis for P&V’s approach today.

Dynamic growth

The history of P&V Elektrotechniek is markedly dynamic. Just two years after its establishment, a corporate building with office space was built. Two more structures followed later, with more extensive office space and (in 2008) doubling the company surface area from 5,000 to 10,000 m². In 1993, P&V panel building took over Breva. P&V Elektrotechniek is currently the largest independent panel builder in Belgium. With the creation of three activity centers in 2001, P&V has found the answer to the most demanding needs of its customers.

Today’s management

P&V is currently led by a three member-strong management team composed of Johan Van den Berckt as CEO, Raf Hustinx as CFO and David Baeten as COO. They map out the operational policy together. For strategic choices, they work very closely with an advisory board composed of external professionals and family shareholders. The chairman of the advisory board is Ghislain Vanherle.
