P&V promotes sustainable mobility
Thursday 01 December 2011P&V promotes sustainable mobility
Together with its 160 employees, P&V Elektrotechniek demonstrates that sustainable mobility is also possible on an industrial site with little available public transportation.
Two years after the launch of the project, 60% of P&V’s employees carpool to work. Carpoolers also have a guaranteed ride home and there will soon be a reserved carpool parking lot.
To encourage employees to bike to work, P&V has bought 16 commuter bikes and even offers raingear, a bike allowance, a bigger bike rack, showers and an internal bike repair shop. 14% of employees are bikers.
The car fleet also recently grew with 3 Minis that offer low consumption and CO2 emissions. The cars were decorated with P&V "wrapping"!
